Access is controlled by a unique username & password combination or by hardware identification which is enabled or disabled for each individual user or device. Security
Our security solution gives users and staff assurance that their data will remain protected and that only authorized users may access their networks. The security solution we implement utilises WiFi Protected Access (WPA & WPA2) which is an industry approved security mechanism. It provides a strong, standards-based encryption of all data to prevent interception over the wireless by other users. In conjunction with WPA, we deploy individual secure user authentication. This ensures that only approved users, whom you have specifically enabled on the system, will have access.
Security - A Technical Description
WPA uses Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) for data encryption with Message Integrity Check (MIC). TKIP employs an encryption cipher that issues encryption keys for each data packet communicated in each session of each user, making the encryption code extremely difficult to break. In addition, Teleostec also deploys a mutual authentication scheme using IEEE 802.1X/Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) authentication implemented on a RADIUS server (digital certification options available).
